After more than two hours testifying to authorities, Peter Francisco Paz Lopez, ended with “El Javi”, head of Union Square Zona Rosa called him with an order: “Behead him with a hacksaw. “
Lopez had just arrived at the farm. He found dumped on the ground the bodies of nearly all the young people who hours earlier had been kidnapped from the bar ‘Heaven’. Only one young man was left alive. “He was a fat kid that was crying,” Paz López testified after being arrested last week by federal authorities.
In the drug cartel of La Unión, Paz López was known as “The pothead”. This is due to his acquired taste in prison for smoking weed. After being captured a few blocks from ‘Heaven’, this man told authorities what happened that morning of May 26.
He said his supervisor was then Joel Rodriguez Javier Fuentes, alias “El Javi”. Fuentes barely exceeds 30 years of age and led the abduction. Apparently someone who is only known as “Antuán” initiated it.
“The pothead” said that in the kidnapping, he abducted some of the victims in a Renault Clio car, gray color.
At the ranch Tlalmanalco received an initial order of “El Javi”. He was to initially guard the entrance and make sure no police intervened. Next the voice on the radio of Javi ordering him to approach the ranch. When “The pothead” entered the ranch and found that almost all of the kidnapped youth were dead. They were lying on the floor. Only one of them remained alive. His hands were tied and he was crying.
Paz Lopez said he did not know the name of this young man. He said “The Javi” and “The Antuán” ordered that he be murdered. They gave him a hacksaw and told him beheaded him.
“The pothead” admitted to the agents, that he obeyed the order. Thus ending the life of the last of the kidnapped youth.
Francisco Paz López, was the first of the men arrested in the case of the abduction at the bar-Heaven that not only admitted his participation in the abduction but also in the killing.
For between three and four thousand dollars a week, this man sold cocaine, psychotropic pills, and sometimes helped with beatings and kidnappings. Now he is locked in the center of the capital.
