At the Farmers Market known as Central de Abasto in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. Traders were preparing their positions for the day when a group of armed men moved in.  They opened fire on defenseless vendors, killing two women and a man and injuring two others.

They then fled in a getaway car as quickly as they came. The victims were identified as 23-year Noelia Solis,  and Ignacio Solis Gisela (22)and Castillo Flores who worked as a collector of fees that day. The two injured were 55 years Ernesto Castillo Flores and 45-year-old Juan Solis Tellez.

Gunmen left a narcomessage claiming responsibility.  More than 20 people have been executed in or around the Central de Abasto so far this year. Most of the victims were fruit traders, taxi drivers or random people shopping for products.
