Blog del Narco - Execution of El Chapo Nephew Confirmed

The Attorney General of Justice (PGJ) of Sinaloa has confirmed the killing of Obied Cano Zepeda, nephew of drug lord Joaquin El Chapo Guzman.

According to information from the attorney, Cano Zepeda, 24 years old, was at his home in Colonia Loma Linda, in the center of Culiacan, when a gunfight erupted and he was killed. The gunmen descended from several vehicles and opened fire killing two people. After the attack, the gunmen fled.

Along with Zepeda being killed, youths identified as Luis Alberto López Higuera, 25, and Jesus Tan, 22 were also killed.  During the shooting also injured the father of one of the deceased, identified as Fernando Lopez Lopez, 64.
