The bodies of eight people were found in the morning at two different points of Ecatepec.  The total number of people killed in the State of Mexico drug war is already 18.6 percent more than the same period of 2011.

In 2012 the municipality of Ecatepec reports 78 deaths, followed by Nezahualcoyotl, with 60 similar cases; Naucalpan, 40, Tlalnepantla, with 25, and Ixtapaluca, with 24, according to the authorities.

Statistics on executions in the state of Mexico indicate that there have been 438 murders in the first 10 months of the year, 69 more than in the same period of 2011, when 369 bodies were found.

The Municipal Police reported the first discovery of bodies at 2:30 pm when two bodies of men were discovered in the San Andres area.  The victims had been shot from a firearm. Hours later, authorities found more bodies -6 men and one woman in the Obrera Jajalpa, near the Mexico-Pachuca.

The bodies were naked, bound hand and foot and shot in the head.  According to relatives of two alleged victims, armed criminals had kidnapped the deceased the night before.
