A command rescued general hospital in this city to a suspect, whom they took in a wheelchair. Three masked men with rifles entered the hospital and went to their comrade’s room where two guards sat watch. The patient was under arrest and had been hospitalized since last Wednesday night.  He was injured during a clash between two armed Drug Cartels that occurred at the Plaza Spain, on the Boulevard Valdez Sánchez.

The cartel members broke into the general hospital at about 06:23 pm and caused panic among patients, medical and nursing staff, although there was only a single shot fired, witnesses said.

The attorney general, Homer Gloria Ramos, confirmed the facts and said police are looking for those who took the alleged offender.

” The subject was rescued by his companions. He always said ‘they’re coming for me, they’re coming for me’, and indeed they were.

Medical authorities report that the patient has a lesion on the right arm, with a humerus fracture and injuries to both ankles by bullet fragments. His health is serious and could have serious problems if not treated quickly.
