This time it happened in San José del Ranchito, in the El Mezquital municipality.
Armed men burned six houses and a vehicle, before executing two local men.
“The lives of locals Alejandro Galindo Villegas, 75 and Eudalio Cardona Luna, 59, were taken by several bullet impacts on different parts of the body” said a spokesperson for the state’s Attorney General’s Office.
A woman named María, 65, was also hurt and was taken to a hospital.
That same morning, three businesses were burned down in Durango’s capital.
