Officers from the Manzanillo Municipal Preventive Police have captured Juan Carlos Cruz Estrada, also documented as Nabor Pérez and better known as ‘El 16.’
The bandit belongs to the Familia Michoacana cartel, and was the leader of the Plaza de Zitácuaro division.
An anonymous tip informed that the criminal was living in a house in the Valle Paraíso neighborhood.
Officers that captured him found numerous ID cards on him, as well as driver licenses, which ‘16’ used to evade justice until now.
‘16’ has been placed under arrest in the sixth naval region of the Mexican Navy, located in a port of Manzanillo, Colima.
