Selena Gomez of “The Wizards of Waverly Place” took home an award this week at the Peoples Choice Awards– but not for her popular Disney Channel comedy series. Gomez and her band, “The Scene” won for “Favorite Breakout Artist,” a category in which she bested her good friend – and rumored love interest – Justin Bieber.
