Spain’s Iberdrola Plans to Send 23 Percent of Investments to LatAm

More than one-fifth of the 10.5 billion euros ($13.5 billion) that Spanish electric utility Iberdrola plans to invest between 2012 and 2014 will be allocated to Latin America. Dominican Republic Obtains $78 Million in Loans to Build First-Ever Wind Farms

The Inter-American Development Bank on Thursday approved two loans for a total of $78.3 million to support the construction of two wind farms in the Dominican Republic.
