Latino Art Beat Announces 2010 National Art Competition Winner

This year’s winner is Jesus Ramon Hernandez, a June 2010 graduate of Carl Schurz High School, Chicago, Illinois. Hernandez’ artwork is titled “Conquista para la paz”, an oil painting depicting a battle scene commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Mexico’s Revolution. continue reading »
